Mission Statement: The Men’s Ministry of the Pittsburgh Seventh Day Adventist church is committed to helping men and boys to know Jesus on a personal level. The ministry is to encourage men and boys in Christian living through the collaborative support of the family and the church community, God helping us.

Objective: To provide a resourceful network among the men of the church. To involve at least 50% of the men in Linden church in the Men’s Ministry.

Goals:

• To encourage responsibility and a spirit of brotherhood for all men in the church community.
• To foster self-control , and meaningful commitments to God, self and the family unit.
• To assist fathers to become effective models for their children, and in particular their sons, by asserting the responsibility of priesthood in their homes.
• To provide a nurturing support for young men in respecting their bodies as God’s temple and building strong health minds.
• To provide programs that will attract and motivate men and boys both inside and outside the church community service to the external church community.
